Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Illinois on weekdays. Great low-key pizza joint. Unfortunately, the taps were broken on my last visit. The bottled beer selection is more than adequate, though. They do have a decent wine list as well. The service was outstanding and the pie is always on point. I will caution that large parties will have 20% automatically added to the bill for gratuity, and an additional tip suggestion section at the bottom of the bill that is based upon the total bill including the auto gratuity. Our servers have never disappointed, so I usually add another $20 to the tip. Just be aware if you have 5 or more people with you to check the bill. This is an amazing restaurant in any respect. Definitely make time to stop in while you're in Plainfield.

We were in town and hadn't had Giordano's in quite a while so we ordered for delivery to our hotel. After an hour or so, we decided to check with the front desk to see if a delivery attempt had been made. The clerk said that the delivery person had come and gone. We opened the door and our pizza was on the floor in the hall. The driver didn't knock and just decided to leave it at the door. Additionally, the salad we ordered and plates we requested were not delivered. I called and, after sitting on hold for a while, the manager said she would credit our account for the next order. I told her we didn't live in town but we we would like what we ordered. She was very dismissive and obviously didn't want to send a driver with the rest of our order so I told her to just refund for the salad. It's been 4 days and still no credit to my card. I doubt that we will order again when we're back in town.

Horrible service. It’s such a shame because the food is good. Our server gave us attitude when we simply asked when our pizza would come out. Then when we got our dessert, it was ice cold, and she gave us even more attitude when we asked if we could get it warmed up. She quite literally told my mom to shush. The manager played it off as her having a bad day but honestly that isn’t an excuse. So rude and very arrogant.

My order was a delivery. I ordered two BOWLS of soup and spaghetti with EXTRA sauce. As you can see, my two BOWLS of soup equalled together LESS than two CUPS. PLUS, my spaghetti barely had any sauce.. I couldn't even tell if I liked it or not! And, just to make it better, my driver went off somewhere way out of the way before coming to my place, which made him 15-20 minutes later than promised when they said he left the restaurant and was on his way. So, nothing was even very hot. So, there you go. Soup was delicious, thank goodness. But, not nearly enough.. especially for what I paid for it!! Sorry! But, it is what it is.
